To get the codes, did you try hitting the reset button to stop the messages? Try with the engine on and off?

If you can't get them that way, try borrowing a code reader from a friend or an auto parts store.

HI there,
Lets just hold on for a second here.
First, which module are these in??
And there is usually a letter prefix before them, like P or C or U.
You must be a little more detailed about what your seeing because C1214 isnt pedal position, and C1278 isnt cylinder #8.
Please, if these are the codes that you are getting, confirm them.
Allthebest, c4c5

HI there,
Your C1214 is the reason for the light.
This is showing a power relay problem within the control module for the ABS/TCS.
Normally, if you are under extended warranty, this is a covered item.
If not, there are others who rebuild the unit using a newer relay.
