CM Turn signal question

My turn signals are blinking sloooow. I've verified my bulbs are good and I hear the flasher tick. The hazards flash fast.

Any thoughts?

HI there,
Would sound to me like there is a contact problem in the turn signal circuit, NOT in the hazard circuit.
So, that being the case, do you have the wiring schematic for your 1985??

I have it.

If it's a wiring issue, I'm wondering if the slowness (but they do work) is enough to warrant a gremlin chase.

If the hazards flash fast, maybe it's the flasher or turn signal cam? I'll check both.

I'm going to replace the flasher & remove, clean, & grease the front bulbs. It's been a few years, so I worry about corrosion.

If it's the tail light bulbs, fuugedaboutit! I'll suffer until they don't work or a bulb goes out. My hands and arms aren't designed to get into such tight spaces. Up around the muffler??!!!! Sheesh!

HI there,
You can access the rear taillights by removing the license plate holder and putting your arm through the hole.
Its much easier then from under the facia.
