HI THERE, I was cleaning & waxing my chrome exhaust tips on my stock o1 vette.I noticed a drilled hole on each end of the mufflers where the large exhaust pipe enters the mufflers. It is a 1/16" diameter drilled hole located at the 6 o,clock position. Is this part of the stock muffler system to eliminate water? If not what are they for? Thanks for your expertise. robsc5vette | ||||||||||||||||||||

The holes are there to drain the moisture and prevent rust.
