CM headlights won't open

The other day i was driving home from a friends house and went over a bump and the headlights went out. Hit another bump and they came back on. Now a week later I'm getting ready to go driving at night and the headlights won't even pop up or go on. The highbeams still work but when I turn the switch for the headlights the motors don't spin. I checked the fuses they are ok. Now I'm thinking its a grounding issue or a relay? Anyone have any ideas?

Not sure if this is related but my hood light was not working either but i just tighted up a connection and it fixed that, but not the headlight issue.

HI there,
It would be suggested to look at the wiring harness going to the front headlamps and in the general area of your headlamps.
Sounds to me like your grounds are not tight or clean.

Ok a few new developments in the past few hours. I took the car out trying to get in some driving in while it was still light out, and the car istarts to idles like shit. As soon as I push the clutch in at a stop sign it wants to stall. Check engine light comes on. I bring it back home and unhook the battery and reconnect it a half hour later. I start the car and it says "pull key out, wait ten seconds." So I shut it off and pull the key, and restart it, now it runs fine again.

I also discovered if I push my highbeams forward to make them stay on the don't come on.But if I pull it towards me they do.

I did check the grounds as suggested I thought that might be the problem as well but they are all ok. I unhooked them and cleaned them to and still nothing.
