HI there, The ratio is not really going to work that well. Here is why. The transmission control module monitors output shaft speed and the programming controls the shifts. That, in conjunction with the 4.09 first gear ratio, will give EXTREMELY fast shifts to 2nd and create shifting abnormalities. Nevermind the fact that noone can give me a straight answer as to if they will FIT the carrier inside the differential. Allthebest, c4c5 |

Hi there, Well, once again, your talking about a TCM programming issue and how to compensate for it. If you attempt a reflash to a 2008 model, you then violate federal emissions mandates and will trigger check engine light. This due to diagnostics within the TCM that are tighter in tolerances then the 2006 model transmission. It may work, but I DO KNOW that the 2.73 in the c6 is different from the c5. Allthebest, c4c5 |

There is only one "tuner" that is doing it and I would not recommend it. I think it was DTE that had the propriety programing to make it work. I only know this because I read of one gentleman who was prepared to order the 3.15 rear gear but cancelled the order with DTE ( I believe it was DTE but don't quote me on that. ) The "Tuner" stated that they would only install the programing in their shop and would not ship out the programing to anyone else throughout the country because they worked so hard to make it work. Like I said I am not a 100% sure it was DTE. I could be wrong so take it for what its worth. | ||||||||||||||||||||
