I want to set the timing on my 63 327-340hp chevy engine. It is supposed to 10 degrees above top dead center. The plate that has the marks shows 0 in the middle and there are only lines next to each pointer. Are those pointers 2 degrees each?

That is how I remember it, each mark is 2 degrees. If you have access to a timing light with an advance feature, you could check the number of degrees that the timing is set.

Thanks for the info. I thought they were 2 degrees but I wasn't sure, thanks again.
