|  hope everybody got out of carlisle ok before the storm
hope everybody got out of carlisle saturday before the storm hit. carla and i left about 6:00pm for home and it looks like the damage started around 6:30. i was viewing some pictures on another forum and was very suprised by the destruction it left behind. looks like a bad day for the insurance companies. lots of tents laying on top of cars and car parts strewn everywhere. i also see that the dyno stand where the cars drove up on blew down. doesn't look pretty.

It looked worse than it was. I was there all this morning and a few cars were damaged by flying tents, one was a mint '64 coupe which had a hole gouged in the passenger side fender by a flying tent piece. but mostly things thrown around by the wind. The place was up and running by about 9 AM. I don't know about the dyno guy. He was up and running by 10 AM. Other than that along with the miserable heat on Saturday, it was a pretty good show with an excellent turnout. | ||||||||||||||||||||
