HI there,
That code is for the steering wheel position sensor.
Now, this is a 2 part repair.
First, have the ABS module reprogrammed with the updated calibration. Then, see if the code comes back, it may NOT.
However, if it comes back, then you will have to replace the steering wheel position sensor.
Please keep us updated, c4c5

Paul
First I would like to thank you for the seminar at Carlisle. You are passionate about your profession and it comes across with your depth and breath of knowledge. The 2 hours flew by even in that heat and humidity.
I really need your help in pointing me to a dealership. I called the one that I have been using and told them of the code, they basically said that since the code didn't reoccur on the next start up then that meant it was cleared and shouldn't worry about it. When I told them I had the GM Major Guard that expires in October they said they couldn't do anything if the code wasn't set. I am in Westchester NY and willing to go where out of my way to someone who knows what is going on. Your help is appreciated.
