What tire size do you recommend for 19/20s

Hello everyone I will be purchasing tires soon and I was wondering what you guys would recommend. Right now I have 19 in front and 20 on back. The current tires on my car have way too low of a profile making my ride a lot more harsh.

Current Fronts are:
275-30-19
Current rears are:
305-25-20

I guess my ultimate question is: Would I be able to put
285-30-20 on back
265-35-19s on front
or will those tires be too thin in width?

Ideally I would like to have more meat in respects to Side wall height so that I dont have to feel every single pebble on the ground LOL, but on the other hand I dont want to sacrifice too much handling/performance. What tire sizes would you guys recommend and why?

Also: I dont know what the width of my rims are, but I have been told from many people that I have Z06 Motorsport wheels and those are typically 19x9.5 in front and 20x11 in back Im not 100% Sure though. thanks
