Unhappy Rear turn signal problem-1962

I have a 62 with a strange problem, the right rear turn signals blink in sequence, first one and then the other, the left one is find the front signals are okay too. Might this be related to the constant drain on the battery when car is parked? Thanks, any help would be appreciated. Dan

Had a similar problem on my 62 Impala. I cleaned all of the bulb sockets and the cable assembly connector contacts. Also made sure the bulb housing was getting a good ground. That fixed it for me.
Thanks,
Gary

If I am reading this correctly, it sounds like a bad ground to one of the sockets, or between the bulb and the socket itself.

i would not expect a 62 to have a constant drain on the battery when the car is parked either.
