I have the Z06 Exhaust on my 03' and when I rev the engine hear the "Jingling" sound, which apparently is in the stock "H" Pipe. There is TSB00197c, which addresses this problem by changing out the H pipe for a modified version. My question is, can I correct it by installing an aftermarket "X" pipe, such asa Bassani, instead?

Yes, if that is your noise. The "H" pipe section will be removed and replaced with an "X" pipe design.

| Or do this..., I had the dealer replace my factory "H" pipe with the "new and improved" H pipe and it fixed the jingle problem.Sure was cheaper....done under warranty

Sure! I did my car with my Z06 exhaust, no problems. I got a Borla. It did change the exhaust note and idle and when driving. Driving is a more deeper sound. At idle the motor boat note is gone, which I kind of liked myself. My H pipe had a cracked weld on the top of the pipe thus I could not see it under the car the many times I tried to find it!

Yeah I suppose in giving up the motor boat, we also got rid of the jingling it was worht it but the motor boat sound made it sound like true duel exhaust note at idle.
