C1292 H C Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor Circuit Brake fluid is fresh/clear/500 deg. dry rated. Full flush about 4 months ago when Hawk HP Plus went on. It is about 3/8 inch low of the full mark. Normal due to pad wear. I was driving a secondary road & a little bumpy & my Koni's are still in race setting so a little bump around was going on. I figure the low fluid sensor picked up a signal & threw the service active handling code. Solution, reset code & top off fluid. What do you think? :)

HI there, That code is for the pressure sensor, NOT the actual level sensor. So now, there has been issues with the 5.0 volt reference on certain c5 TO THE SENSOR> Just keep a mindful eye on it, and let us know if it comes back. Allthebest, c4c5 |

Has the reference voltage been ECU, or harness/pin fit related?

HI there, Personally, I have seen equal probles with the Micro .064 terminal and the module. It is always suggested to verify pin tension only ONCE on these terminals. Allthebest, c4c5 |

Will do. Is the wiring/connector for the pressure sensor easy to get to? Should I have a look at it , clean it up, reseat it? If the sensor is near the front of the engine, do you think the coolant leak & related spill of about a qt. down the engine front (that I just fixed) may have got into a connector? When the tech replaced the w/p was he near the connector for this m/c pressure sensor? Since there has been a few people working around the engine bay, I'm thinking a clean/lube/reconnect in that particular sensor area might be in order? Brakes feel fine.

HI there, Most likely, NO. It could be the sensor isnt fully seated. Its the one directly ON the EBTCM. Allthebest, c4c5 |

I found it, driver side of the ebcm (ebtcm?). I am going to simply unplug it spray some contact cleaner, a little silicone on the weather pack & back together, sound ok? I can see where it could have got a bath in coolant if the tech was not careful during the w/p R&R. Where I was working was central (centerline) of the engine & my "drips" were not towards the ebcm. If I'm careful I don't think I can "hurt" anything. Any trick to the disconnect/reconnect? #################### Update Drove tonight, warning & code (H,C)displayed. Car warmed up, parked it at the gym. Started up (just for fun) and the warning cleared & "C" disappeared, just an "H" code now. Reset the H & I guess I'll still service the connector, but it basically cleared itself (from c & h to just h) in one warmup cycle. ######################
