CM Mag Ride Control Update?

I have seen that there is an advanced/updated MRC in the new ZR1 and was wondering if it is a whole new system or just an updated computer control? I'm wondering 1) If so, would it be possible to update my 05 C6 or 2) is there any other updates or modifications to the MRC system?

Hi there,
There is nothing as of this writing of how the system has been changed/modified.
Until the new car reaches production, we will not know any other details.

Question

Thanks c4c5, I assume that also means that there are no updates or modifications that can be done to my '05 system?

Not yet although I have heard people change the sway bars to Z51. Not sure though.. as you'd have to do a search on the subject.

I know that there are mechanical additions you can make to the suspension. What I meant was changes/modifications to the actual MRC via tuning or other electronic adjustments.

Thanks and yeah, a guy can dream! We may get to the day a guy could buy a variety of different tuning algorythms - maybe even from a new CTS!

CM super suspensions

Do a search on the active suspension technology that BOSE (yes, BOSE) has been working on for 20 years. They have an older Lexus LS400 that can do all manner of suspension tricks including bowing on command. When the system goes into a production vehicle (C7 perhaps), it will be a new benchmark for the ultimate suspension.

Search "Bose suspension" on YouTube for some wild videos.
