The directional handle broke off my 77. Do i have to take the steering wheel off to fix it??

HI there, That depends if the switch under the column plate is broken. Did the handle break OFF?? Did the switch with the screw break?? If the switch broke, you have to replace it and yes, you will have to remove the steering wheel. Allthebest, c4c5 |

if i remember correctly, it just unscrews. grab it with a pair of needle nose pliers and unscrew it.

HI there, Or use a left handed drill bit, to get the old piece out. I have tried this personally and it does work. First drill it and if it doesnt come out, use a left handed self tapping machine screw. Allthebest, c4c5 |
