1998 corvette motor cranks gets fuel but wont turn on

hi i have a 1998 corvette 78000 miles on it i put new module under passenger side wheel well my theft deterrent switch is on off i took battery to get charged at autozone every thing looks good just wont start just keeps cranking wont fire up why help hurry please thanx ron

Why did you install a PCM?
If you just installed a PCM, you will need to do a theft deterrent learn, and if you installed a new module, then it must have been programmed by a dealership.
So, that being said, what codes are in the PCM and BCM?

ao-ldcm-2codes a1-rdcm-2codes i had this guy hook my car up to obd he had a snapon he told me to give him vin number of car and he got part i put it in but al motor does is crank i checked its getting fuel whats causing it not to fire

i also got this little switch for alarm i got it on off postion i thought i read somewhere where this allows you to start motor using key

Something is wrong, very very wrong.
First, there is no switch on a stock c5 that does this.
Second, once again, you have to program the antitheft system in order for it to start.
When you turn the key on and attempt to start the vehicle, what does the security light do?
Flash or stay on solid?

it has a little switch when i bought car its under the automatic shifter its says on and off its a throbble switch security blinks when i get in car now what it does after that i dont know i have to check is there a way to fix security so i can start it

hi i put battery back in car security light comes on a few seconds then goes out i tried to crank it over again nothing when i take key back out it security blinks again ok thanx for helping me what a vacation im having lol

like i said when got in car today after i put battery in i went to crank it when i put key in security light blinks a few seconds goes out
