CM Cannot re-program tire sensors

Need Help.

I cannot seem to get my 99 C5 vert to go into the mode where I can re-program the sensors. I place the ignition on start and clear all of the codes. I then cycle through the options until the display is blank. I then hold the reset button for 3 seconds as advised. Then I press options again.

Nothing works.

What am I doing wrong?

HI there,
Do you see "fob programming" before you press the Options again after the reset?

Thanks for the response.

I do not see this as well. Should I disconnect the battery to let the system reset itself?

HI there,
That might work, but it sounds to me like your switches might not be working.
Can you reset your trip meter???

Yes.

I just reset Trip Meter A and B.

I am hoping this is not a big issue.

Thanks for all of your help.

HI there,
So then, that means the buttons are working.
It is possible that the IPC is NOT responding to the inputs.
How long are you holding the reset switch for?

Again...thanks for all of your help.

I am holding the button for a couple of seconds. I did once have an issue when I tried to re-program one of my Key fobs. The battery died and I tried to re-sync with no luck. The other fob worked fine (I have 2). Is there a master reset I can perform to put the car back in it's native mode?

HI there,
You can attempt to disconnect the negative battery cable for 15 mins and see if that helps you.
But, honestly, usually 15 seconds is what it may take to get the module to state, FOB PROGRAMMING
