Hi all my dealer is really confusing me he is now telling me to run 41-932 or the 41-952 at .60 my stock plugs on my 1998 c5 auto were 41-931 i am so confussed and they know nothing about programming the pcm for the 41-985 personally i want to stay with platinum what do you recommed again i do not want to run the 41-985 and i want to stay with ac delco, help | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Hi c4c5 i here alot of performance loss and my dealer does not know of the programming I have read your replies to others and you say it has to be programed i am at a loss confussed i would say so i figure stay with the factory gap and platinum ? my dealer says to run the 41-932 and stay away from the 41-985

if my dealer knew nothing about programming the pcm for the 41-985's i'de probably try to stick with the original ones to. i suspect thats why he doesn't want to switch to the newer ones.

HI there, Just remember, the programming is to OPTIMIZE the new plug usage. The 41-985 are actually Iridium, NOT PLATINUM. And NO, there is NO POWERLOSS between the 41-932 and the 41-985. Even if YOU DONT program the PCM. Allthebest, c4c5 |

Thank you for yor help i think i will stick with the 41-932 my dealer did show me the bulliten for the 41-985 but again it said nothing about reprograming and he stated he has nothing but complaints with the new plug maybe it is some corvette owers like me who think in our heads the gap change is not the same there for diffrent performance do you know if the 41-932 is the same as my stock 41-931? and again you all are sooo helpfull also i am so stressed out 2nd baby any day I just called another dealer he is 67.miles away and he says use ac delco rapid fire no 12 wow now im really confused maybe i sell her and buy a vw-NOT JUST WANT THE BEST FOR MY GIRL

i for one didn't know there was no power loss between the 41-932 and the 41-985. it seems you kinda always state to do the reprogramming when switching to the 985's. thanks for that clarification. makes me feel a little better knowing if i ever change my plugs, i won't need a trip to my dealership. i'm not comfortable letting them reprogram anything at this point.
