I have a 1990 vette I have spent the last three years rebuilding.Except for paint it is done. The only problem I have is the fuel pump won't turn on.I have checked fuses and changed the starter relay.I am stumped and would really like to start this car up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also I would like to know if the fuel pump is controlled by the vats.

Hi there, The fuel pump is NOT controlled by the VATS system. You can check the 3 wire harness to make sure you have power on the purple and grey wires. Allthebest, c4c5 |

OK this is making me crazy.I get the fuel pump working try to fire it up and no gas to the cylinders.Spark plugs are dry.The fuel rail is full and pressurized. It seems to me that the injectors aren't functioning. Once again any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks/Dave |

Yes I do have spark to the plugs. I haven't connected any of the vaccum lines up yet.I'll have to go to the library to get the schematics friday to do this.I don't know if this has anything to do with the injectors but thought I would let you know. Thanks/Dave |

HI there, Then you will need to check to see if there is POWER going to the fuel injectors. Also, check the resistance of the fuel injectors. 16.5 ohms. Allthebest, c4c5 |
