CM Z06 brake install

Installing Z06 brakes on my 2005 C6 this morning and find two issues;
1. I am going to install new SS brake lines also but find the pictures and install instructions in the service manual deceiving. The picture of the rubber to steel brake line connection is incorrect. It shows a small wire clip holding the rubber line to the bracket and says to disconnect the clip and loosen the nut on the steel line. Well in fact, the clip is a plate which is on the other side of the bracket making it and the nut on the steel lines very inaccessible. Does the plate/clip have to come off first and does the nut on the steel line have to be reached and removed while the rubber line connection is held with a back-up wrench?

2.The service manual says in the power bleeding of the brakes section that you do the right rear first then the left front next, then left rear then right front. Is this right?

Need help fast, thanks

Jim

Hi there,
The stainless steel brake lines have been known to cause ghost ABS codes on c6.
Just so you know, c4c5

Just curious, what are you using for wheels? I'm considering the same and not sure what wheels will fit.
