What is the normal opperating tempature for the auto trans. How do you know what is too hot. How do you know when fluid is low.

HI there, Your automatic transmission can get up to 260 without any problems what so ever. You do have a feature that if the transmission fluid gets over that, the DIC will warn you and the transmission shifts differently to cool it down. The fluid must be checked from underneath between 80-122F at the drain tube plug in the pan. Accurate fluid level is critical to proper operation. Allthebest, c4c5 |
