CM Best jack & jackstands for C6 Z06

I would like to do my own oil changes for my 2006 Z06. My old jack isn't suitable for this car. I would appreciate your input as to what's the best jack, jackstands and placement to get the car off the ground high enough to work underneath and breathe at the same time.

Much appreciated,

For an oil change I'd just use ramps and jack up the rear and put it under the stands.

Jacks:
I have the AC DK20. It's a snug fit under the front air dam. But, I'll sometimes just drive up on a couple of boards to make it easier.

These guys have the AC as well as AF&F jacks that work well. http://www.asedeals.com/auto_shop_jacks.html

Jackstands I use an older set of Craftsmen. Just make sure when you use them they are in the right spots. They should span at least 2 ribs of the crossmembers.

Hi:
I use and recommend the AC Hydraulics DK13HLQ jack with the rubber saddle cushion. This will lift to a height of 29 inches and works very well on a low clearance car like a Corvette.

For jack stands I use the AC Hydraulics flat top jack stands, which work very well on a Corvette. These are no longer available from AC Hydraulics but a knock-off version from China is available and these are supposed to be of good quality, rated at 6,000 pounds each.

I found the best prices at www.alltiresupply.com, as follows:

AC Hydraulics DK13HLQ jack: $535.00
Saddle cushion, PN 3601400: $34.00
Flat top jack stand, PN 3000NFP: $102.50

This is a lot of money but you will be using quality equipment. I bought a Sears 4,000 pound aluminum racing jack for $200.00 and it is a leaky piece of junk.
