Didnt happen to me - but was just wondering how you open the hood if the cable broke in your C5?

I've never heard of anyone having that issue. Hell, the cable in my '79 is still working!

You have to raise the vehicle and remove the front wheelhouse rear filler panel and then trip the latch with a long screwdriver.
