1962 Gas Gauge

How do I calibrate a 62 gas gauge, so it reads correctly? It never reads less than a little less than 1/2 tank. Thanks. Dan

first thing to do is make sure you have a good ground at the sending unit it will give bad readings if not good best first check before getting to deep Steve
