Please help me, I have a 2001 Z06. I am getting service active handling. Checked the codes and I am getting P0801 HC, C1284 HC, C1285 HC. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi there, Your C1284.1285 is due to an issue with the lateral accelerometer. This could be due to a module problem, sensor or a bad ground source. You will need to expand on how long you have had this problem, what modifications are on the vehicle and what recent service work has been done. Allthebest, c4c5 |

Hi, the car was in an accident and a front clip was put on so its possible that something got missed. Where would i find that to check it out? Thanks for all your help.

HI there, You would start by inspecting the wiring harness to the ABS module located in front of the power steering pump. Then, the ground source on the drivers side frame rail, directly across from the alternator for cleanliness and torque. Depending on how far back into the nose the impact was and who was in there, you could be dealing with something that is not even related to the impact. Allthebest, c4c5 |

All those codes sounds like a wiring nightmare done during the repair.
