Electric cars are ok, I guess. I just don't like how we are going to make enough electricity to charge all of them up, with nuclear powerplants.

i like it. it's a hell of alot better looking than the other electric cars out there. i could not find pricing on it though.

I have worked at a nuclear power plant for the last 17 years and I still do not glow. I do however wish GM well with the Volt and hope it will make a big splash for them.

It's not the plants themselves I am too worried about, it's more about the nuclear waste (lots of it, like we have never seen before), and where to store it safely. The Volt is truly a big step forward for electric cars. Electrically powered cars can offer big torque instantly, set up correctly they could be a lot of fun to drive.

And in addition they could reduce the funding of Osama Bin Laden and company.

We do have safe technology now to store nuclear waste. I don't think it would be a problem unless some thing really bad happens like a volcano eruption at the nuclear waste dump or some thing similar.
