I have moved this to the POLLS section, as this is where it goes.
I have yet to OWN a corvette, although I feel like each one I work on is mine.
Allthebest, c4c5

I was in my 20s when I bought a 67 convertible.

Having worked in a restoration shop on Corvettes from 1953 to the present, I felt like c4c5 does. Every car you work on you have a connection to.

Do not PM or email me with vehicle issues, I will not answer. Please post your questions on the board. We are not mind readers, all C4's, or C5's etc.... are not all the same.... so please follow our simple guideline and 'INCLUDE THE YEAR OF YOUR VEHICLE' with your question.

I think it was around 25 or 26 if I remember correctly. It has been a few years and I have slept since then.

1988, it was a 1984, I was 24 - just finished my trade apprenticeship - single - money to waste - good thing I had money as it was expensive to run. Learned my lesson about first year production cars.

At 25--soon as my insurance went down because somehow they correlate meaningless numbers with maturity--they called an "adult rate".

Clearly, they don't know Corvette owners!

I see this is an old post...

Anyway, in my 30's and when I could pay for most of it up front.

Four years later I paid it off and it is mine. It is not going anywhere either!

Now go play with your tools!
