CM Dual clutch transmission

Is dual clutch transmission a good idea? In this case the car will have 2 sets of clutches. One will handle the odd number gears and the other will take care of even numbered ones. The driver is not required to use the clutch as the car will take care of it. C7 will be having dual clutch transmission. What are your thoughts on this possibility?

It sounds promising. I'm wasn't too familiar with the specifics, but I found this that helps explain it: HowStuffWorks "How Dual-clutch Transmissions Work"

The process is somewhat similar to the Aston Vanquish.
That had a hydraulically controlled clutch and transmission shifting.
It was a T56 with hydraulic controller and pump.
Interesting idea, but honestly, alot of complexity for what?
No better performance than the 6L80.
