CM climate controls on 1994 vette

cant turn off or use recirculate or auto. also cant change temp. other controls are working.
this started off as an intermittant problem. what do you do?

Remove the negative battery cable for 5 mins and then reconnect and torque the cable to 11 ft lbs.
See how the climate control works afterwards.

CM 94 vette

tried the battery thing and it reset to auto but when i tried to set the temp it went up to 90 and wont come down. when i pushed recirculate it went and is now stuck their. i removed the neg cable but have not hooked it up yet. that was two hours ago.

is the control head part of the unit or is it somewhere else? where can you get one and how much do they cost.

Hi there,
No, its just what you see.
You will have to remove the outer bezel, and then there are 7mm screws that hold it in place.
There are many Corvette parts suppliers that could have them.

how does the bezel come off. does it just snap on?

HI there
No, you will have to remove the center console lid, and then the shifter bezel, the upper vent deflector and then the bezel.
Once those are all off, you can remove the HVAC control head.
