CM Master Cylinder Bleed

Is it possible to bleed the m/c while mounted on the firewall and if so what is the procedure?

This is on a '65 327/300, single m/c, non-power brakes. TIA.

you can make up a line that screws into the master cylinder and then run it into the brake fluid and pump it till no air comes out of the line
