CM driver window on c6 doesn't go up?

Just noticed the drivers window on my 2008 c6 doesnt go back up when I close the door. (The last 1/4 of an inch to seal the window) I can push the button and the window goes up if I'm in the car but not if I park the car (at mall etc) and the car could be stolen quite easily....

Should I open the door...raise the window and then close it or will that break the glass?

is this....a ....

Small adjustment or a big deal?

Fuse? or something behind door panel need to be replaced?

Small adjustment or a new part?

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

The reinitialization of the power windows will be necessary anytime a door module has been disconnected, replaced, or the vehicles battery has been disconnected or discharged. The power window will be reinitialized when the door module learns the full up and full down positions.

To reinitialize a power window:

Close the door for the window being reinitialized.
Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
Run the window to the full up position and hold the switch continuously for a minimum of 0.5 seconds.
Run the window to the full down position and hold the switch continuously for a minimum of 0.5 seconds Try his and see what happens Steve

Steve,

Thanks I'll give your suggestion a try right now...

The only thing is I never disconnected the battery...never ran it down, Never opened any door panel etc..

I've just been putting gas, oil and enjoying driving it..

Thanks again..

Hows this for weird...I print off your instructions.....

After not working properly for two days .....I get in the car this morning to try your procedure and the window operates fine...Closes every time the door shuts...

I put the instructions you listed in the glove box for future reference in case it malfunctions again..

Thanks again..

Maybe the car has a ghost? ;)
