99 car in the shop and with the parking lights on the 1 Fuel, 2 Gages, do not light up, 3 Trip, 4 Options, do light up, 5 E/M and 6 Reset do not light up. I saw that there is three bulbs behind the buttons I took out the top bulb and there is continuity. Is there anything else it could be besides the bulbs?

I've seen this before too. I chalked it up to dirty contacts since reseating the bulbs worked like a charm.

VERY interesting. I had the same problem with one bulb in my '03 Z06. While I had the car in for an extended warranty claim, they also replaced the entire switch (which they had to special order) telling me that it is not servicable. They included the switch with the other issue (door window regulator) and only charged me one deductible.

All bulbs and these little ones, eventually get broken filaments. Simply tapping on a old bulb can break its filament, as well of course as just age. I have tapped bulbs before that were off, it comes back on for awhile or one heat cycle and then the filament breaks at the original break again and turns off. Obviously the only fix is a new bulb. I replaced all my dash, console and widow switch bulbs with plug n play LEDs...
