CM Another brake flushing question

When flushing the brakes on a abs system do the abs valves have to be cycled open to have the job done right? I have a 2006 C6 that I want to take to a garage to get the system flushed.

HI there,
Yes, in order for it to be done accurately, the Tech 2 bleeding cycle is the way to do it.

I was just about to post this very question.
So if the abs is not cycled do you know how much fluid is in the abs unit that does not get flushed out? I guess there is no other way to cycle it short of a tech 2?

HI there,
Yes, that is correct, based on valve sequencing during an event.
The Tech 2 bleeds it so that ALL THE hydraulic circuitry is bled
