Was trying to diagnose some problems with my 04z. Noticed the stock intake was kinda loose. Is in the thin frontmost steel hose clamp that connects the air intake to the throttle body. The hose is different in that you cannot tighten it with a screwdriver like the rear clamp; it just kinda latches together. It seems like this could let bad air in especially since the gap is forward facing. Any suggestions on how to work this clamp or where to get a thin replacement clamp. The ones at Home Depot, Lowes and Auto Zone are too thich for the groves. Also noticed a little clean oil at bottom of throttle body but read that this is normal in an old thread; never seen this an any other cars I have owned. | ||||||||||||||||||||

HI tere, What kind pf problems are you having???? The movement of the bridge clamp is considered normal as long as the tube doesnt FALL OFF. IF you need a plier to tighten the clamp, we use a CV boot clamp plier. It works the best. Allthebest, c4c5 |
