Hi Gang. Hope you've all been well.

Sorry I've been away for a while. Between the economy, being sick for a few weeks, family, odd jobs, etc. I haven't had much time to be online.

One of the odd jobs was pretty cool. Unfortunately, as much as I'd like to, I really can't talk about it for another week or two. But, here's a hint. Think Corvette's younger brother.

Hi there,
There will be NO Z28, its either LS LT or SS.
You can get the SS with an RS appearance package with HID headlamps.
Allthebest, c4c5

After finally figuring out Ltns, I came up with possibly Solstice GXP?

I saw that Solstice. Personally, for the money, I'll take a two year-old C6.

No Z28? According to Motor Trend, it's developed, just not green lit. It's an entirely different beast than the SS. It's more like a ZR1-lite. It wasn't at the Detroit Auto Show, but it's in MT.

Then again, no sign of any convertibles at the show and we've heard they're announced for 2011. Don't think Chevy wants to have anyone wait for future models, but rather wants them to buy right now.

LTNS = Long Time No See

Paul got it right, of course.

Z28 is still an unknown. But, the regular versions went into production today. Convertible is still expected next year, last I heard.

Sadly, these American icons aren't American made, nor is the new Challenger. Even Toyota knows some things should be US-Built, like big trucks. Muscle cars fall into that same category.

Think I'll wait until that changes or continue to opt for Corvettes, still built in the US.

I know that sounds silly, but I've always felt that way about anything I'll use harder than the family sedan. More so now that GM has billions of our tax dollars. I'd like to see this loan guarantee create jobs capable of paying US taxes, not just bail out shareholders.

Are they still made in the Land of Canada? Even 4-5 years ago (or how ever long it was), when they were green lighting the Camaro, you would have thought GM would get it right this time and made sure they were made in the U.S.

Oshawa (sp?) Canada is where they are building the new Camaro. Just like the last generation.
