CM Attention 1997-1998 owners with LED brake/tail lamps

I have bought two sets, turned out to be from the same manf, and both did not fit in my car. They also flashed rapidly when using the turn signals. I do not even know the manf it was not listed on the last site I got them off of, but it was not Depot or Halo.

Seems 99 and up do not have a fit or flash issue with the manf like I have encountered. My car has the original rear fascia, no accidents ever.

I know you can get a new flasher for a whopping $70, or install resistors, but I want a set that fits and flashes like normal.

What kind did you get and did you run into this before?

I am looing for all red, not clear or anything like that.

Now go play with your tools!

I ended up getting the LED set from Mid America that costs $300. A little bit more then others but you do not need to buy or modify anything extra with them.

The first two sets I got rapidly flashed when the turn signals were on and then the bigger issue was they did not fit! Sold for 97-04, these were new on the market and obviously the manf did not do enough research, because they did not fit my 98. My car does not have an aftermarket rear bumper either. The rapid flash is because the LEDs do not give any real load, the car thinks a bulb is burned out.

You can get load resistors to counter act the rapid flash, which I did with one set. With the reisistors in place, all the dash lights flashed too and then would just stop. Not wanting to do damage, I stopped.

Anyway, check out the $300 set from MidAmerica, if you have not already...
