CM Everyone wish Paul well!

As you've no doubt read, our own C4C5 Specialist has been caught up in the US Automaker turmoil and his dealership has lost its franchise.

He's announced that due to what can be a prolonged job search, he won't be here much. That's a sad situation, but one we must accept with the same disappointment I know he feels in not being as available as he has been. We've been pretty spoiled these last few years having him at our fingertips, literally.

Let's take a minute to thank him for his excellent assistance that's saved us each a ton of money and headache and wish him well as he seeks a new position in the field.

Thanks Paul and please check in now and again and let us know how you're doing!

No way Paul!

I am so sorry to hear this. Anything I can do, i.e. reference or letter if needed, you let me know buddy!

You know I made a career change and got out of the auto industry before things really got their worst here in Michigan. You will surely land on your feet and with all of your knowledge, you will certainly be an asset to the next dealership.

Good luck and like you said, focus all your time and energy on your job search.

Talk to you later and you and your significant other will be in my thoughts.

Now go play with your tools!

Doors close and better ones open,it is just a matter of time and effort until your new door is found. I wish you a speedy transition. Your professionalism will see you through this challenge. We all must face this reality that careers are not what they use to be. My older brother worked for 36years at the same employer. My longest gig has been 9 years. Self employment I believe is the long term answer. Easy to say hard to develop, fund and maintain. With the amazing skill and knowledge you have and with GM service being what it is and probably getting worse a Corvette Specialist should be in high demand. Now how to construct and fund this enterprise? Perhaps it is our memberships turn to assist you? So I propose that a new topic be considered How to develop and fund Corvette Specialist Inc.
With great Respect Regard and Appreciation Joe Roynan

I wish you and yours the very best of health, happiness and good fortune.

I think I've read nearly ever one of your posts over the past few years, and I've learned a lot. Ensure that any prospective employer reviews your many comments and advice on the this site. It's a far better resume than you could ever write on your own.

You'll land on your feet, and you deserve to. Cream always rises to the top.
