J.B, Good review. But, one question: where would GM put the spare, jack, and tools in the corvette to be able to get rid of the run flats? The space provided by no spare tire is nice, and I do use it. I personally use runflats on my own vehicle because of no spare tire in a C5, but I am a bigger fan of a spare tire and non runflats.

I told the product specialist today...if my 2008 Cadillac CTS does n't have runflats or a spare tire or jack...Why does my corvette need it? If I can get around for 60K miles in my c5 z06 with non runflats..(and I got a few flats that were no big deal.. Just plugged it up with a two dollar plug kit from k mart and a 20 dollar compressor to inflate it.. I never used the 500 dollar GM tire repair kit because it was 500 bucks.. k marts 20 dollar inflater fits in the small rear compartment as does the 2 dollar plug kit.. Can't wait till my goodyear runflats wear out so I can buy a set of Nitto Invos for 930 installed and balanced.. Should be the best "mod " I do on this C6 Z51 w/npp... I do believe...if the Cadillac can run with no runflats and no spare...then I can run the vette the same way.. i'd say GM would have or could offer it up on the 2010 grand sport with wider fenders, wheels and tires...and find out what customer response might be.. I suggested the 2010 wide body grand sport with non runflat tires could fetch 5 grand over the base coupe and vert prices.. Thats all MSRP for the grand sport wide body too..IMO I told him I wanted the option of 1lt too I have it...and as crazy as it sounds..it fits my needs perfectly... All just my opinion and not worth a penny more! LOL

I just checked...Its got a sealant kit in the trunk tire well.. No spare.. I thought I remembered it was an option I didn't take when I bought the car.. If you like you can buy a spare I believe...for a few hundred dollars.. I didn't..To be honest..I'd rather throw a plug kit and a compressor in the trunk.. its easier than changing the tire and my wifes never going to do that anyway.. She'll just call me.. LOL and worst case scenerio..i'll just have it towed if I can't fix it.. I'm just saying if the caddy doesn't have a spare or runflats..then why does the corvette have to.. JMO but I'd rather have non runflats..Runflats ride too hard and the extra unsprung weight is a pain in the butt.. JMO btw..the new buick Lacrosse is such a cool looking car in the sport model..that for 33.800 dollars..I'd recommend that over the CTS which is a car I also love.. that new Lacrosse was that hot looking today..
