CM white looking stuff on C-6 dash pad.

i understand there is a bulletin about cleaning these dashes with murphy's oil soap, correct ???

The white stuff, I think is "skin". If you rub your hand, arm or whatever on it, it leaves the skin residue. I simple damp cloth will take it off.

I have this same issue on my 2008 Vette and my 2009 Toyota Highlander....both are cured by a wipe with a damp cloth....this is caused by the outgassing of the vinyl...

mix the murphys oil soap and water as stated on the bottle and wash down the surfaces,wipe with clean water and dry. it worked for me

I have the same stuff on my door panels. Will this work on them as well? Seems like it should since it is the same materal.

yes it will as i had to do my door panels also. i think the white stuff is mold release
