| I wonder if the use of the dry sump system will have them mount the engine lower in the frame (like the Z06) to lower the center of gravity? All in all, that's a great price for all that. I'd rather have the F55 magnetic selective ride suspension and have a good ride when you're not on a track and just want to drive the car at a reasonable pace, but the Z51 comes with the extra coolers too so it's clearly the way to go for an all out track car. |

| I have the z51 suspension and its really pretty comfortable on the street. I figure once I dump the runflats this summer the ride will get even nicer. I wouldn't NOT get the Grand Sport because of the Z51 suspension. If anything its the tires that could be changed to soften out the ride.. The F55 is a cool option too... I imagine 2011 or so GM will go wide body on every corvette sold.. Just a guess though.. FWIW..only the manual coupe gets the dry sump system and the battery relocated to the trunk area.. |
