Hello Ever heard "leave well enough alone" well I should have listened and I have learned a lesson. While charging the AC in my wife's car I figured I'd charge the vette up for the summer months. 99 C5 auto. The compressor was fine then startred to on off on off. Now it is making noise and "sneezing" what I think is refrigerant from under the passenger side. The sneeze goes with the on off when the compressor goes on it goes off with a scraping noise then sneezes a discharge of some sort.. Any ideas what has gone wrong? No codes. The ac light goes on then off with the compressor. Oh boy! Thank you for your consideration | ||||||||||||||||||||

HI there, Your AC is overcharged. Its pressure blowoff valve at the back of the compressor is releasing excess pressure. Have the system completely evacuated and then recharged with the correct amount of R134a. Allthebest, c4c5 |
