CM A site etiquette suggestion

You know, smething has been gnawing at me for a few months: basic etiquette.

Seems a lot of folks join this forum, ask one question/present one problem, and disappear.

Okay, I understand that not everyone wants to be an active member, but what rubs me the wrong way is when they pick the brains of some top flight members here and don't even report back on the outcome.

Really, knowing what suggestion works in what case helps us all. I read every C4 problem and follow the thread because eventually, I may need that knowledge. Better to have it before it's necessary. I've learned tons here.

So I've personally adopted a policy of not answering a second question when the member hasn't contributed back, even if it's just a report on what did and what did not work.

To me, that's basic site etiquette.

Thoughts?

I agree with you too many one way streets out there. The piggy drive is what clued me and then no report back on suggestions. Still the process benefits those who seek a better understanding of the Corvette. Be much better if you got a hollar back "hey that worked, thanks" or "that didn't but this did". Etiquette not many practice that anymore to absorbed with self. Thanks for bringing it up, I hope your suggestion works as it would improve a great site.
