CM Rivnuts/Nutserts pulled out of frame...help

The skid bar was pushed sideways and two of the 8mm rivnuts/nutserts were pulled out of the frame. What's the best way to reattach a new skid bar? One of the holes in the frame looks normal the other looks to be enlarged.

Weld the holes and re-drill? Drill new 1/2 inch holes in the skidbar and frame? Then install new rivnuts?

Is there an easier way than using the rivnuts?

Do they make something like a molly bolt anchor that springs open and holds the bolt in place?

HI there,
If you cannot install rivnuts in the correct location, the frame will have to be repaired PRIOR to installation of new rivnuts.
This is usually done by sectioning the frame.
That is a crumple zone location and therein, will be compromised if you weld it incorrectly.
Allthebest, c4c5
