CM Trans bolts

I have my Vette in for a new clutch (AC/Delco this time!). Seems 24,000 miles (eleven years) is more than a Centerforce kit can handle. The original went 73,000, by the way.

The mechanic noticed a Torx bolt (1 of 4) holding the trans to the bell housing is missing. I don't know how long it's had just three.

I've checked the Corvette vendors and none list such an item (but of course, every slap-on accessory known to man...).

I expect the dealer will laugh when I ask for a part on car so old, but maybe GM carried this bolt over.

Any thoughts?

HI there,
I do not know of anyone who has this bolt.
I normally use a Grade 8, ALLEN HEAD with a hardened washer.
Allthebest, c4c5

Thanks! He said Torx, but maybe he meant allen. The local hardware store carries a good selection of high grade bolts.

Said nothing of washers, so I'll make sue those are used too. Imagine if the last guy left out a whole bolt, the washers had no chance of making it.
