My Radio and climate control lights are flickering while I'm driving, and the DIC battery reading is fluctuating between 13.0 and 14.1 volts. The codes I'm getting are, U1160H, B2282H, B2284H,U1064H, B2283H, B2285H and U1064H. Any idea what the problem might be?

Yes, if they are not torqued to 11 ft lbs, they could create the concern. Allthebest, c4c5 |

Yes, a loose battery connection can cause some minor or major glitches. I have a 99 coupe that I bought in March. I replaced the battery with a top of the line Sears gel battery a week after I had it. For over 3 months, I wondered why my radio lights would flicker at idle and why I could not turn on my headlights with the engine running. I'm thinking about some expensive repairs, the alternator and the multi-function switch. I did some research, bought it back to Sears and they tighten the negative terminal a quarter turn and surprise ... it solved both problems. Don't assume just because a battery is new or in good shape that the terminals are tight enough. The C5 needs good grounds and a good juice. Jerry | ||||||||||||||||||||
