I have been told that since I have a 2005 C6 I'm not eligible for a" Nav Disk Update". I was also told and have read that if you purchase a "GM Certified Pre-owned" that you will get a free update. All you have to do is supply your VIN# and in some cases your certified paper work to the disk center and they will send you the lastist one. So I sent them an e-mail and low and behold have a new 5.0 in 2005. Just thought if you didn't know this(like I didn't) you could get a free DVD.

I'm glad you found the info usefull. I had to try twice. The first e-mail to them came back with a "sorry, no you don't qualify for a free upgrade but we will sell you one for, and get this,$4999.00. Typo for sure but I replied and was told that yes I do get the 5.0 upgrade. So be persistant and e-mail or talk to a supervisor.
