CM Power steering in my 07 C6

When I am going very slow and make a turn as in getting out of the garage or turning slowly around a corner my power steering seems to surge. It feels fine when I turn going faster. My car an 07 C6. It seems to be getting more noticeable. Is this normal, or does it need service?

Thanks , Bob

I think there's a TSB on this. It has to do with a hydraulic return hose, if memory serves. Hose was crushing under vacuum, I think.

CM Thanks Norty,

Thanks for the heads up. I will see if I can look that up. It has always done it, but seems to be worse now.

Thanks, Bob

HI there,
Hold on one second, is it only when your moving very slow and you are full lock left or right???
If so, you might want to check your differential fluid and if its been revised.
If your rear clutch packs bind tight enough, it will give you a jumping from the front of your vehicle.
Allthebest, c4c5

True, but this is usually during cold, first drive scenarios. It should be auditory also.

OK on both of these. I called the dealership and they say it has not had the fluid upgraded in the differential. Should this been done anyway?
