?vats vs fuel pump relay,vs???, lost.

I put a new battrey in my 87 corvette (manuel 4+3), now it turns over, almost starts (begins to fire up), but will only continue to crank over without starting. Checked all fuses and replaced any that looked questionable. I can here the electric fuel pump operating. There is gas in the tank. I've been told by multiple knowledgable sources that it is probably a vats problem. Cleaned ground lead junction to negative side of battrey also. Tried/performed multiple times the lock/unlock doors with keys as outlined in manuel both sitting in the car and outside the car, security light on the IP flashing as before, again to no avail. Have two sets of keys, tried both, cleaned contacts on ignition keys with denatured alcohol. Where to go from here??? Thank You!!!

HI there,
If it was VATS, you wouldnt be able to start the car.
Check your injector resistance, it should be 16.5 ohms for each injector.

Injector resistance normal x8, had vette towed to chev dealer, found that ECM not functioning, dealer had in stock (about $200), replaced, now starts normally and runs well. Thank You for the help.
