I have a 94 Coupe 6 speed with 107k. I'm going to do a complete rebuild of the suspension components. I plan on using the Energy Suspension black bushing kit. I'm starting in the rear. Would you recommend replacing the axle tie rod assembly? How can I check for wear on inner joint assembly? Is it a ball joint under the boots? The tie rod ends are available from moog but if I need the whole tie rod assembly is it still available from GM? Any other advice on doing the rear would be greatly appreciated. HI there, The energy suspension kit will create a bit of squeaking, so be aware. As for the tie rods, simply tighten a wheel on, and grab it at the 3 and 9 oclock and attempt to move it. If it doesnt, then you are fine and there is no need for replacement. Allthebest, c4c5 |
