Hi Paul, Thanks again for all the great information you gave at Carlisle last weekend. (Wish you lived closer). You were telling us (and gave us the website) where we could find the names of all the GM certified mechanics that have gone through the same training that you did. They are listed by state. Unfortunately there's no easy way to find out which dealership they work at. A friend of mine told me that you guys are certified for all GM cars not just corvettes. Is that correct? So if I find one of the guys on that list locally but he doesn't work for a Chevy dealer, then he would by just a knowledgeable about fixing our C5's problems as any other GM car. Is that correct? If so, I guess we need to starting calling all the local GM dealers until we find some mechanics that are on that list? It would be great to be able to take my car to a mechanic who I can trust will know how to pinpoint problems correctly and without a lot of trial and error (which costs a lot more). I know trying to get that column lock problem taken care of by a regular mechanic was a hit or miss thing. Not his fault though. If he would have been trained like you perhaps we could have gotten to the core of the problem a lot sooner. Thanks again Al

HI there, I would just ask them if the dealership if they have one, and his name. Then, reference the www.gmstc.com and see if his name is on the list. Allthebest, c4c5 |

HI there, The Corvette training courses IMO are not very good but yes, there are a few. I must admit, if they just had them, what took them so long??? There is NO CORVETTE CERTIFICATION OTHER THAN PASSING THOSE COURSES. Allthebest, c4c5 |

All I know is that he told me they had additional corvette training...didn't say when, where or how much. Like I said I hope I never have to partake of their services but if I do I am hopeful they know they're stuff. Have a nice Labor Day
