CM Engine temp

Ok, last time I had an issue you guys came through, so here goes the next. My 1962 C1 usually runs at 220, lately it periodically spikes up to 240+ then back down. Any suggestions?

CM

where are you getting those temp readings from rich? dash guages or something more reliable? is you 62 engine modified at all? with not much info to go on i'd start with checking the fan clutch.

I think I would start by verifing the guage is accurate and go from there.
